Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your use of playtriptrek.com and purchases made from TripTrek. The website and TripTrek products are operated and sold by On A Tuesday, LLC, a California limited liability company.

Acceptance of terms

By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies that apply to your purchase, including our Shipping & Returns policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Product information

TripTrek is a physical, travel-themed social board game. We aim to describe and photograph our products accurately. Handmade copies, prototypes, and manufacturing samples may have reasonable variations in colors, components, packaging, or other details. Screen settings can also affect how colors appear.

These variations do not excuse sending a product that is materially different from what you ordered. Please contact us if a product description is unclear before purchasing, or if your order does not match its description.

Orders

Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Please provide accurate contact, shipping, and purchase information, and review your order before completing checkout.

If an issue prevents us from fulfilling an order, we may contact you to resolve it. We may cancel fraudulent orders or orders affected by a clear pricing or listing error. If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the affected purchase.

Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars unless otherwise indicated. Payment is processed using Shopify and its enabled payment providers. Applicable shipping charges and taxes are shown during checkout before you complete your purchase.

Review the product, quantity, personalization, shipping information, and total shown at checkout. Price changes do not change the agreed price of an accepted order.

Preorders

Some TripTrek products are offered for preorder before manufacturing and fulfillment are complete. Any shipping month or date displayed for a preorder is a good-faith estimate and is not a guaranteed delivery date.

The $50 Founder’s Edition is currently expected to ship in February 2027. Manufacturing, freight, customs, supply chains, weather, and carrier delays can affect timing.

You can cancel a Founder’s Edition preorder for a full refund before it enters fulfillment by emailing info@playtriptrek.com with your order number. Once fulfillment has begun or the order has shipped, change-of-mind cancellations and returns are not available.

If we cannot ship within the stated timeline, we will notify affected customers, explain the updated timing and their cancellation and full-refund options, and obtain consent to further delay where required by law. Estimated shipping dates do not limit these rights.

Handmade and personalized products

Handmade Prototype copies are assembled in small quantities in San Diego. The current price is $80, with shipping expected in November 2026.

Personalization offered for the Handmade Prototype applies to the interior of the TripTrek box unless otherwise stated. It does not modify the standard exterior artwork.

You are responsible for checking the spelling of names and other personalization you submit. Contact us promptly if you notice an error; changes may not be possible once work or fulfillment has begun. Personalization does not allow you to choose a copy number.

Shipping

Order processing, shipping timelines, available destinations, and tracking are described in our Shipping & Returns policy. Shipping options and charges available for your order are shown at checkout.

Returns and refunds

All sales are final. We do not accept returns for the Founder’s Edition or Handmade Prototype, including personalized copies. Founder’s Edition preorders can be canceled for a full refund before fulfillment begins.

Our Shipping & Returns policy forms part of the purchase terms and explains preorder cancellations, our no-return policy, and support for damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect orders. It does not remove any rights or remedies that apply by law.

Intellectual property

TripTrek branding, original game content, artwork, graphics, website content, rules, designs, and other protected materials are owned by or licensed to On A Tuesday, LLC, as applicable. They may not be commercially reproduced or distributed without permission, except as permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks and content remain the property of their respective owners. Buying a game gives you a physical copy to enjoy; it does not transfer intellectual property rights.

Acceptable website use

Do not use the website for unlawful activity, fraud, intellectual property infringement, or unauthorized access. Do not attempt to disrupt its operation, bypass security, or use automated tools to abuse the website or its checkout services.

Third-party services

Parts of the purchase experience rely on third-party services, including Shopify and its payment providers. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply when you use those services. Our use of these providers does not remove our responsibilities as the seller of your TripTrek product.

Website availability and disclaimers

We work to keep the website accurate and available, but technical errors and interruptions can occur. We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted or error-free. If a website issue affects your order, contact us so we can help.

This does not exclude product warranties, quality standards, or other consumer protections that apply by law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, On A Tuesday, LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the website. This limitation does not excuse fraud or willful misconduct.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The latest revision date appears at the top of this page. Changes apply to future use and purchases and do not retroactively change the terms of an order already accepted.
